Overview

Schedule: Eve 7:00pm - 7:30am

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Care Partner role involves providing essential patient and administrative support to the Nursing staff at CHLA. The D6 Rehab unit, where this position is based, is a 22-bed rehabilitation unit focusing on treating children with various conditions, including Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, head trauma, spinal cord injury, anoxic brain insults, and cancer/blood disease patients.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Applicants must be able to write, speak fluently, and understand English. Previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for at least 1 year is preferred. Nursing Student Applicants should have completed a pediatric rotation.

Education/Licensure/Certification: High School graduate and American Health Association BLS certification are required.

Pay Scale Information

The pay scale for this position ranges from $32,656.00 to $48,797.00. CHLA values the unique contributions of each team member and determines the starting pay based on factors such as education, experience, and industry knowledge. The listed pay scale is a general guideline, and additional compensation may be considered for candidates exceeding the specified qualifications and requirements.
